A water feature in a small courtyard garden
Custom made water cistern from oak and copper, designed to fit around the downpipe and overflow into a system of irrigation pipes made from recycled copper.
The lead planter above the cistern is designed to take a Nasturtium plant which will creep along the pipe.
A series of copper pipes take the water from the cistern and drip it onto the plants via tiny holes above the chains suspending the buckets
Having passed through the pipes the water arrives in an old barrel where a pump set with a timer returns it to the cistern
This system will look far more attractive when the plants are established
